Soy Wax, Organic Herbs, Essential Oils

The smells of autumn, the harvest, and the changing season.
Traditional rusty orange color for Samhain, made with the herbs commonly used in Samhain ritual and spellwork.
Comes with a small printed blessing for the season.

Samhain (which means "summer's end"), celebrates the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the winter / darker half of the year, or what some people think of as the beginning of the spiritual new year. It's about the halfway point between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice.

In Celtic pagan tradition, Samhain was seen as a time when the veil between life and death grows thin. It's a time to remember and honor our ancestors, reflect on our past year, celebrate renewal and transformation both in nature and in ourselves and our own spaces, and reflect on nature's rhythms.

This candle includes the herbs traditionally used in rituals and spellwork during this time. Rosemary for remembering and connecting to our ancestors, Mullein for abundance in the coming year, Mugwort to aid in divination and help facilitate dreamwork, trance, or meditation, a sprinkle of Sage, a few Cloves and Cedar cones, and a blessing whispered with a full heart under a full moon.
